McDonalds healthcare with my at&t healthcare.
McDonalds is better in all measurable ways.
Price, coverage, Doctors, fees, everything in everyway.
He operates the drive thru window & I'm a tech with 30 years service in San Antonio, Tx.
His plan is so much better than what is available to me for 2023 that I plan to put the family on his Micky D's plan and pay the premium.

Do you remember when…we were all being told/forced to get the jab and one of the “elites” divisive messaging tactics was “to keep insurance rates and cost down in the future”….bda, bda ba duh duh!!!

Here we go again. This has to be the same person, just trying to get under my skin. May also be the same person that raves about the Cricket network being superior to T’s.
I speak for management only. The insurance offerings are high deductible, high premium garbage. It has been for some time and just remarkably somehow gets worse every year. Now we’re somehow using buzzwords like “choice” and “flexibility” in lieu of the actual words, “$hitty” and “costly”.
You all need to wake up and realize the self-insuring rates AT&T is offering is very competitive. The price of everything is increasing, especially health care. Many countries would die to have the health care coverage being offered by AT&T.

FYI - Concierge medicine? The only people that I know that can afford this are CEO's and perhaps celebrities who pay large retainers to be able to see the Doctor of their choice. McDonalds just like AT&T does not offer concierge medicine as these Doc's are usually outside of our plans.

The “best” plan of the bunch costs $1,680 a year and caps benefits at $10,000. But for outpatient treatment (which often means the emergency room), benefits are capped at $2,000. A trip to the emergency room can zoom past that level in a matter of minutes.
There's no free lunch in healthcare at McDonalds.
I don't plan to work at McDonalds but there is one just down the street as well as a WalMart. I did go in and get an application and talk to the managers and it does appear that their coverage is at least as good as att's.
Next time I drive past a Taco Bell or a Burger King or Taco Cabana - I think I'll compare HC plans.

McDonald’s does not have a cash flow issue which helps negotiate better health care plans. Still nothing wrong with T benefits, still competitive.
Santone will look you in the eyes, tell you how great at&t healthcare insurance is. Then while she is pi----g on your leg she tells you it's just raining! Remember it never gets any better, every year it gets worse. The put less in the box and charge you more.
If you read the comment he's thinking about putting the family on his SON'S health care plan. My guess is the son makes $15 per hour for after school & weekends. I mean, it's an unskilled kids job flipping patties, shaking fries, filling cola cups and asking to supersize that from the drive thru. It's incredible that a low skilled job has better healthcare than a telephone company. Just amazing.

I'm pretty sure that the OP's story's point was that Mcdonald's values the health care (Well-being) of its order-takers, fry-makers, and burger flippers at a level that is FAR BETTER than AT&T is willing to care for its own skilled professionals.
Give me a 1.5% bump in pay only to pull it back in the form of more health care money out of my pocket? "Here's another bonus C-Suite! Nice work."

100%. And yet you still have stooges on here crowing about how great the healthcare plans here are.
I have not run into a single friend or family member that works for a large company or corporation whose health care insurance offering is not significantly better and cheaper. Not one.
And I'm not even that mad about it, as I am generally happy with my compensation otherwise.
Just please, for the love of God, stop telling me how great my healthcare insurance is.

McDonald's and Walmart do not have the Ratty or Stink as CEO, and their current CEO is not a mentally ill megalomaniac!
I was thinking the same thing when I looked at my wifes WalMart plan.
