There were many of them. Would love to hear your thoughts on which one has set this company back the most.

Not promoting John Legere internally. With the right job title, he was able to lead T-Mobile to the #1 carrier. Makes you wonder what other leaders they are missing out on with their ridiculous High Performer designations.
Getting rid of free coffee. Worst business decision ever.
Two words: Stephenson and Stankey.
Making Stankey CEO!!! They call him the stink!!!
Wrong again!
T paid T-Mobile $3B in cold hard cash and $1B in spectrum for the breakup fee in the failed acquisition of T Mobile.
Buying the failing and almost bankrupt AT&T and not letting go of all of the AT&T execs (at the time) that took that company to ruin.
Whitacre only wanted it for the name, none of their failing business was worth a cr@p.
They should have just waited for it to completely fail and then just taken the name.
Correction : $1 billion paid
To T Mobile

Failed deal
????$1m to Tmobile??????
You must be dreaming.
Worst thing was the CWA selling out to the company. 2nd was buying Warner Media for over double the value. 3rd was donating $1 million to the competition T Mobile for a failed merger.
Buying Comcast from the Roberts family and selling it back to them for a huge loss
Buying Direct TV after cord-cutting started touting GOT even though it was ending
T-mobile disaster
Buying Time Warner and its dump to Discovery
All of the above. I wish some investigative reporter would write a book on these debacles. Or if Hollywood could make a documentary or non-fictional movie like The Big Short.
Getting rid of the phone booths. Now I cannot make phone calls in emergencies. Terrible business decision.
Making Randal CEO
The exclusive iPhone deal.
It fooled AT&T leadership into thinking they were Silicon Valley guys.
Worse decision made is T hiring disgruntled employees. Automation will get rid of most jobs that people take for granted and keep some field techs and engineers that keep the network as being one of the best. T doesn't owe you anything, but you did trade your time for money. That was your choice. You could have stepped away from T at anytime and found yourself another job that you think is better.
Gonna keep harping about the same old thing because that is gonna change things. Or it will make my miserable life a little better.
Oh good. Here’s a fresh topic that hasn’t been beaten to death
The breakup fee, cash and spectrum, handed to TMUS. Funny thing is, TMUS didn't even demand a breakup fee. Randall Stephenson and John Stankey threw that in to show TMUS how committed and confident they were that the deal would be approved.
