Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Consent Order / Asset Cap

Am I the only one noticing that WF is trying to stall claiming ‘success’ with reforming its risk management program until Republicans take back control?

If the OCC and politicians really knew what is going on, breaking up the bank safely would be the focus. Things aren’t going well. We seem to be using stall tactics. Everything has slowed down

Much more likely the current structure stays in place with Republicans at the helm

O0 proceeds from a false assumption. Trumpista candidates don’t sit well with the general electorate. They are already freaking out about the polls.

It’s going be an epic fail for the GQP.

"You have a better chance of seeing a male be able to biologically give birth to a baby themselves before seeing the Asset Cap lifted...."

And it's at exact moment that you'll see a lot of men rethink their stance on reproductive rights.

Whistle-blow to the OCC. You won't be the first.

They are stalling independent inspection because they know it’s a mess.

One there is independent inspection I predict they will blow up the Compliance dept

Total disaster. They haven’t actually gone that far yet. They are simply trying to identify controls and create an inventory at this point.

It’s going to get ugly

It's not stalling, it's not being willing to say it's successful when it is not.

So are they stalling claiming success, or stalling succeeding? The OP’s post is confusing.

My guess is they can’t claim success because they can’t execute, because leadership is silo-ed and largely incompetent, which doesn’t seem to be an option you’ve presented.

With multiple media sources, people are all constantly being barraged with settlements and new scandals. It seems that almost every week we’re hearing about some new issue relating to WF company practices. When I hear news about the company giving away freebies to the so-called underserved communities, I think of the wokeness. I wonder what’s going through the minds of our top leadership of this bank?Extremely low yield savings accounts and constant charities to the underserved communities.
Whatever happened to rewarding high-value clients? You’re supposed to help the client make as much money as possible, not read about money going out the door to underserved communities.

They'll never get out of the asset cap. Break them up by divisions.
