It's becoming apparent that people who are supposed to run this company don't know how to do anything else but lay people off to make sure profitability goals are met. Instead of focusing on new ideas, they are focusing on reducing the workforce. Wells Fargo doesn't stand a chance with them at the helm.

They should decimate technology even more so. Ever heard of client link? The company CRM?Soon to be replaced by salesforce. The business and technology should be ashamed of themselves for the development of in-house software.
Laying off is the laziest form of cost cutting.
@hof. They have decimated tech already because of stupid decisions. You want them to lay off more?
You have no idea how tech works obviously. Neither does the C-suite, for that matter.
It is a layoff forum, so...
I think it’s great. There’s hope for me, yet? I’ve been trying to get laid off for years. I always thought marketing got laid off, first. I should’ve joined mortgage…
Well then you should stay off this site. It is called "The Layoff" after all...
Quite quitting and quiet firing.
It’s just amazes me to see both employees and leadership try and wait each other out.
Will longtime employees get frustrated and give up their nice long severance? Not if it’s six figure.
I’ve seen it happen a lot, lately. Leadership moving teams around the company like pawns on a chessboard. WFH allows employees a slight edge in waiting out leadership.

Agreed. It’s demoralizing. I really do hope they lay off technology.WF technology has great tools at their disposal, too bad their development teams don’t fully utilize the tools they have.
