T-Mobile is making the cuts we were all expecting after Sprint merger

Yep, we are all ICs and 1st level managers cut from ATS. Mostly former Sprint folks are gone!

WARN requires a 60 day notification that you're being laid off. Folks getting a notice today are be being told that that the last day of their employment is October 30th. However what they're also told is that they are not able to access any internal systems. About the only thing they have access to is email. I believe it's individual States that have requirements about companies in those States actually posting a public notice about layoffs.

Basically what T-Mobile is doing is skirting the edges of the rules so that they don't have to go public with the scope of everyone that's been laid off.

Very sorry to hear all of the layoffs. Does anyone know if T-Mobile followed the WARN act correctly on these layoffs? "The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act helps ensure advance notice in cases of qualified plant closings and mass layoffs. The U.S. Department of Labor has compliance assistance materials to help workers and employers understand their rights and responsibilities under the provisions of WARN."
