I just got this e-mail and was tempted to report it as phishing.

It happens every time they cut severance. They offer this cliff notes version of the handbook of the changes, though, they neglect to mention the severance downgrade. They did this over a decade ago. Every time a new handbook comes out, don’t know almost everyone looks at the severance policies?
Do they really planning to reduce severance packages? If we look at BofA, they are adding perks for people to stay. Is Wells knowingly pushing us out to join competitors? I would not be surprised although this sounds very effed up

They know this, and you will be surprised at how much it is going to change. Severance is going to be cut, harshly.
I clicked on the report spam button when I got it.
I found out that if you live at least 40 miles away from your office, you do not need to go into the office. Go get yourself a strip mall mailbox in some remote town far enough away from any WF location. RTO Problem solved.

I read through the email and links and it doesn’t seem to be anything new, mainly a centralized publicity blitz for our various benefits, perks, and DEI efforts.

That’s exactly why I’m not leaving WF unless I get my golden severance.The fake account scandal tarnished my reputation. I recall flying back into this country and getting pulled aside by customs. When customs asked me where I worked, I told them WF. The customs agent said, “I’m sorry”. That being said, can’t leave WF without my golden severance.
End RTO, then we'll talk about living our best life. Until then it's a pack of lies.
Wells Life…. Smile when you soend 3-4 hra a day in a car to go to an empty office to sit on 10 hrs of meetings with your entire team that is out of state. Smile when the equipment at your “hotel” desk doesnt work, and you have to cube jump 3x times. Smile when you get an exceeds that equates to a 2% raise. Smile when Sr Leadership blasts you with details of work trips abroad (aka vacations). Smile when matching funds on your 401k are held without interest for a year. Just smile and be happy people when no other company wants to hire you based on WF is listed in work history. Just smile.
As an engineer who reviews all the phishing/spam submissions, thank you. For the longest time no one used the button and life was boring for a while

Solution: use the phishing button they gave us. I use it for most corporate emails and executive correspondence. Ever since corporate began the phishing expedition with those fake emails they send us, i’m now in the habit of clicking the phishing button on all the emails. ironically, it actually works.

I saw it was for what it is corporate fluff. I did not click the link and deleated the email. Waste of time and money.

I’m guessing this is a comically terrible response from executives who have been terrified by all the “quiet-quitting” propaganda they’ve been reading about in fortune/WSJ and it was rushed out in a knee-jerk reaction to the god-awful initial results of the employee-feedback survey.

yeah... we all got it... this cracks me up - " Its all about being your best self at work, at home, and at play" Sorry... don't we all do that? Be the best we can be... but with displacements looming around.. its hard to be your best.. but we still do it.
My opinion, another way to spend money.. do we really need this? I don't think so.
