I don’t know about this whole quiet quitting thing. I do my job and that’s it. I don’t volunteer for extra work or put my hand up for new initiatives. I can already see we are only getting our basic bonuses, they save the exceeds for mgmt best friends/ the chosen ones. (The bonuses are fine and good as they are not complaining about that). So why would I do anything extra? I’m a white male, I’m not getting promoted into mgmt with their new diversity targets so that’s not an option and I’ve accepted that. They’ve shown time and time again they will lay you off if you’re a high or low performer (you’re just a number to them). So again why would I do anything more than my basic job, what’s my incentive? Not sure why this quiet quitting is a thing but basically I just do my job, I think I do it well and competently (no complaints from my mgr). I just don’t do anything extra as it’s just not worth having extra work for zero reward. I would rather go home at the end of the day and go fishing.
The exec team isn't scared. They are not normal and like us. They see this as an opportunity to lay people off who are not putting company first and to pad their stats come bonus time. These garbage humans are licking their chops at all of this.
Factory workers is right, and good if exec team is scared but I doubt that’s the case unfortunately.
