WFH Extension

Did anyone in the union on here get an official extension till 3/31/23? My group did and I was shocked seems like we are the only union people staying home till 3/31/23... from what I heard everyone else in union went back or will be going back soon. Got lucky..

I go to work daily, sit in a chair & watch monitors all day, send in Unix type commands, take a full hour for lunch, 2 thirty minute breaks, 5 trips to the water fountain, 10 trips to the restroom, f art, scratch, sniff, cough, laugh, watch tv, read news, internet get a few hours of overtime daily and cash that huge check. Oh and take call outs 7 days a week and plan to retire a multi millionaire in about 30 years.

"....did anyone else realize the sentence “they are opting out of the agreement they agreed to” totally makes no sense?

Have you never read official correspondence from Union knuckle draggers before? That's actually not that bad, LOL.

As all of you probably know, despite the newly signed extension of the CWA-AT&T WFH agreement, the vast majority (all?) of AT&T workers are being forced back to the office in the coming weeks. ... We are devastated that Laura and Ed – and apparently all of AT&T – are opting OUT of the national WFH extension that they just agreed to. The opt-out clause was always there, but now Ed and Laura are using it.

They have the agreement in case Covid comes back. Meanwhile, all that idle real estate just sitting there amidst a commercial real estate glut? I think they would dump it off if they weren't going to get 50¢ on the dollar for it. As acknowledged, the opt-out clause was always there.

In Michigan, the business unit told us they were opting out as well. We shall see how this goes though we still have a month. Fingers crossed!

I go into the office one day a week. I don't see a single soul there other than the security guard. I believe everyone is still working from home. At least in this market area.
