Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

John Stankey and Randall Stephenson have a plan

They will be collecting $100M per year in royalties from Business Schools all across the land for the use of their life stories of failure and business destruction. Ted X has already trying to land the exclusive but Harvard Business Scho is saying no way. I mean how bad do you have to be to do what these 2 knuckleheads have done. It's as if they ran full speed towards a cliff thinking they can fly. I just can't get behind it so I milk this dying cow for all that it is worth. Anyone out there really think this executive team can do anything in this environment? The Lions have better odds winning a Super Bowl in the next few years. The best think that could happen is if Stankeynkicked the bucket, seriously.

AT&T is growing mobile subscribers and growing fiber subscribers. Not bad for someone that knows nothing.

Stankey knows nothing about fiber and mobility. He has a failed track record with both. What does Stankey know? Hats, cowboy hats, he knows nothing about cattle. Stankey is all hat, no cattle!

Why would Stankey be hat or cattle? They are more fiber and mobility.

Neither one was CEO material.

Could be your idea about what it takes to be a CEO is unrealistic. Remember, all the money they "lost" went into someone's pocket. It didn't just disappear. There are a lot of ways people could have made big money on their "mistakes." If you consider that their job might really be to suck as much money out of the company as quickly as possible insead of bringing more in over the long-term, that puts their performance in an entirely different light and might explain why they're so richly rewarded.

Acquiring Time Warner wasn't too swift but then he took control of the cockpit and threw the pilots out at 30,000 feet and shut off all radio communications to the flight control. Randall and Johnny looked at each other, gave each other a big sloppy kiss, and promptly crashed the Airliner full employees and shareholders straight into the Mountain. Somehow they both managed to get skydiving lessons right and exited the plane at 10000 and are still descending. We can only hope they land in the middle of the world's largest Fire Ant Mount or a Large Pack of starving mountain lions(Hit by bus, car wreck, elevator shaft) The damage these 2 have done can be measured in many lives lost so it only seems fitting.

Losers, not fit to be first line managers in any company. Neither one was CEO material. They hoodwinked T employees, T BOD, T shareholders, T customers, the entire worldwide business.

How can they show their faces in public? They have destroyed an iconic 150 year old blue chip company. They continue to get what they can get until T finally collapses under the extreme debt load. Probably trying to figure how to get another multi million dollar bonus like Killar.

Whitacre and Ratty are going for a ride with the Stink on the corporate jet to the Stink's next head polishing appointment. They are going to have a new type of Pajama Party enroute! No backs on their pajama bottoms!
