Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Math of Sr executives

If we add up the salaries of the directors and Sr executives...how many people could keep their jobs if we use a average of 65k a yr?
Instead of laying people off...gee...maybe the executives can go for $1 salaries and no stock for their workers?

You've got it backwards plebe. What they are thinking is "hey guys, if we fire another 100 of these weird cultist team members, we can bring over Bob and Jimmy from JPM and still cut costs!" (High fives all around).

Large corporations exist to serve the rich. All this talk of equality is a pipe dream.

Why should the bank keep executives that consistently fail?

I have yet to see how all of these senior executive hires have improved efficiency.

Why should they keep workers just for the sake of keeping them if there are more efficient ways to do things? Unfortunately the bank isn't a charity.
