So I heard a rumor today, based on a thread on here that I can't seem to find, suggesting that at some point in the near future severance will begin being paid by the lines of business, likely resulting in a flurry of layoffs before the cutover. Any truth to any of that?
Termination Thursday, bet the ranch on Kalshi and make a few extra bucks to supplement your unemployment hand out
The pattern seems to have been the last or 3rd Thursday of the month. After the last few years, I'm at peace with all of this now. I'm not quitting to go work on a contract, so as my friends have done in other teams, wait it out and get a package and be off for 8-12 months, then look on or after your 2nd month or just enjoy your time off. Let me take a sip of my coffee....
Wells is constantly adding new roles and eliminating other roles that aren't terribly needed.
By asking when they will start, that assumes they have stopped?

Based on history, this Thursday will be a Layoff. The rumor is the end of month Layoffs are typically higher than middle of the month Layoffs.
Monday. You are the only one on the list.
