Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Peanuts

According to rigzone we are now researching peanuts instead of having a well funded exploration program? MW has lost his marbles. This, and selling out of leases only to have other Operators make discoveries, will be the downfall of this company. Whoever gets the CEO baton next will have to rebuild this company from the ground up.

@2oqm, we sold out of our geothermal program in the Philippines, about 10 years ago.

The highly regarded Doctor and Professor Andrew Latham, PhD, thinks we should be taking a close look at geothermal like places such as Indonesia and the Philipines. Thoughts?

Well I don't know about peanuts, but I do know Chevron has a non-existent exploration program, with no strategy, no budget, and (gasp!) no oil finders. Good thing there's a Hess out there to allow us to farm in 40% on marginal tie-back opportunities!

Surprised that none of the fund managers asked why production has decreased YoY for the past 2 quarters. In a sea of great news this obvious fact should be a huge red flag.

Mike is fleecing Chevron of all its value. But his stock options sure are doing well. Good thing his bonus is based on stock performance too. It’s all working according to plan.

Exploration is ending. No need for new production or projects. Time for transition, folks.

Yawn, This is getting old. Get a new approach, loser. It's not always someone else's fault.
