Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

ATT Death Spiral

Not much incentive for lower rank good talent to hang around. Not much incentive for customers to sign up for ATT. Dividend cut will be coming, layoffs will be coming. Forcing people back into the office for the sake of productivity or generating no severance departures will lead to a toxic level you haven't seen before. ATT is in a death Spiral that is about to accelerate from second gear to fifth. Funny that T-Mobiles Market Cap was 1/6 that of ATT at the time of the announced and eventually failed acquisition. Since then in just over 11 years T-Mobiles Market Cap has surpassed that of ATT.

LMAO, do you even realize there are more people that have been let go at ATT that went over TMO after being axed. And they simply executed on every good model that ATT had that was sacrificed at ATT to rationalize costs in order to dump money down the latest Wall Street Company marriage proposal. Sad.

What about Business Services contributing to the revenue stream? I understand that it is doing very well at least that's what management keeps spewing to its minions!

maybe the wireline side of the business is death spiral. Mobility is doing just fine contributing 80% of AT&T revenue. Just think what Mobility could do if they were not dragging this boat anchor.

Look what Chris Licht is doing over at CNN. Something this clown show disn't have the nuts to do. Chris Licht has reportedly vowed to steer CNN away from its current far-left, anti-Trump agenda, saying on-air personalities who are unable to adjust to a less partisan tone could be fired.

You don't miss a QUARTERLY cash flow projection by $2B and assign it to late customer payments without some deep seeded problems. Wall Street knew it was BS and didn't even bother to drill management as they got busy drilling the share price. Late Payments? 20 Million Customers at $100 each paying their bill late or 20 Thousand at $100K paying their bill late or somewhere in between. Wherever it falls if that is the issue then the company has even bigger problems. Stock will go sub $15 before the end of the year. Yes a dividend cut andass layoffs are coming.

T is doing very well in the Business Services area of the business selling WiFi services, Managed Services and 911 new business. At least this part of the business is a money making sector with no plans to shrink the head count anytime soon.

T Mobile is doing well. I believe if the merger went through 11 years ago T Mobile would have failed and T would have sold (buy hi sell low) by now. Perhaps T has finally learned to play in their own sandbox and just try to survive. One can only hope.
