What is with all the corporate simp and cuck comments? It is not your company.. we're just lackey employees, not owners, partners, trustees, board members, etc.

the us empire frequently and systemically performs psych ops and propaganda to its' chattle. HR is NOT your friend. Smith-Mundt Act revocation. Smile, clap, and nod at the place. Then bail. Think cesspool with elderly debt and tax slaves who are STILL working not bc they have to, but bc it feeds their ego and their lust for $. Empty sickos

Respectfully, what confidential information has ever been revealed out here about business initiatives?

And then disrespectfully (towards the bank, not you), I laughed a little at the term “business initiatives”. In other words, a business initiative is usually a positive action displaying inventiveness, vigor, or a step forward to gain an advantage. I see no such enterprising activities commencing out of this C-Suite.

@jyh, this is a proper channel. Please refer to the NLRA act, the section about employees’ right to openly discuss work-related issues conducted in person or on social media.

Please don’t criticize your employer. If you feel something isn’t going well use the proper channels. Refer to the social media policy for more information.

@OP, Just scrool down through the recent posts or click on any related company’s forum board here. I can’t imagine any c-suit or hr being happy about the stuff written here, but the site still exists, meaning as long as no law or website rule is broken hr can’t do much about it.

Just make sure your post is kosher (no swears, insults, racial and political posts) and for God’s sake, learn the difference between slander and criticism. Also, beware that anonymity here works both ways - you can’t mention your coworkers and direct supervisors because they aren’t public figures.

If it's a bigoted response or opinion, then they have every right to eliminate that. You can feel however you feel about it but they do not owe you a platform for that.

I’m actually going to take it a step further here and suggest that members of our Operating Committee and Board of Directors spend significant time each day monitoring this board. Just as it was with that Yahoo message board a few years back.

I seriously think someone from HR wrote this thread and the first few responses.

For diversity, equity, and inclusion, I encourage you to print a PDF of any conversation that interests you.

Some of the recent discussions related to business initiatives contained confidential information. It wouldn't be hard for WFC lawyers to request a takedown -- and regulators likely aren't watching the board. HR does participate here.

I agree with the previous post. It is better to see things as they are or offer a counterpoint in a safe space than bury what you don't like. Especially when recent legal findings show DE&I is theater, the actual practice is the opposite.

Justice Department Reaches Settlement with Wells Fargo Resulting in More Than $175 Million in Relief for Homeowners to Resolve Fair Lending Claims, https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-department-reaches-settlement-wells-fargo-resulting-more-175-million-relief

WELLS FARGO AGREES TO PAY $7.8 MILLION IN BACK WAGES AFTER U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR ALLEGES HIRING DISCRIMINATION, https://www.dol.gov/newsroom/releases/ofccp/ofccp20200824

There are 2021 and 2022 examples of both of these issues. That means they didn't change behavior after regulatory findings. This is after a reorganization in that area, changes in policy, and loss of face in public.

Then there are proposed lawsuits from 2022 alone.

HEADLINE: If you participated in the Wells Fargo & Company 401(k) Plan since March 13, 2014, you could get a payment from a class action Settlement., https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/if-you-participated-in-the-wells-fargo--company-401k-plan-since-march-13-2014-you-could-get-a-payment-from-a-class-action-settlement-301552904.html

Wells Fargo wins dismissal of shareholder lawsuit over commercial lending, https://www.reuters.com/business/finance/wells-fargo-wins-dismissal-shareholder-lawsuit-over-commercial-lending-2022-05-06/ [Employees' Retirement System of the State of Hawaii could file an amended complaint.]

Wells Fargo Loan Modification Lawsuit (2022), https://www.classlawgroup.com/wells-fargo-mortgage-modification-lawsuit/ [Filed in 2020, $18.5 million settlement.]

The list goes on. It would be a part-time job for a customer or employee to keep up with all the class action lawsuits to which they may be a party. Too bad most of that money goes to the lawyers. If you see a concern, print to PDF; if you have credible supporting evidence, reach out to a regulator.

Leaking to this board feels good but doesn't do anything. If the board is truly anonymous, all they can do is take down a message. Vent then organize. Let public opinion challenge your claim. However, don't let it stop if you witness illegal or unethical practices.

Lipservice to DE&I hurts worse than doing nothing at all. Always raise your claims internally, even if nothing will happens. You're up against a publicity machine with the resources to paperwork your claim into vapor. Team lawyers and risk professionals know how to make the worst look acceptable.

no, but it's monitored by lawyers who have no problem issuing cease and desist letters to the owner of this site.

All are harmed when content is selectively deleted.

Even if you don't agree with someone else's position on something, their ideas should still be out there - for better or worse. Only then can they either be substantiated or 5hot down - in public.

Problem is that a lot of the weenies that run boards like this will delete content that they personally don't agree with. Sadly, these people have no other lives.

Remember right before the last presidential election, like two months out Yahoo and all the major message boards all vanished or worse they selectively deleted posts. When i was a kid this is the kind of stuff we joked about happened in Russia along with 2 ice cream flavors. 1984 came true. Just start off all your messages with a couple lines about "equity" to throw them off the sent of truth.
