“ Could be solved easily. Eliminate "family" coverage with the same price tag whether you have 1 or 10 dependents. Move to a cost per dependent model. Never understood why companies do the family coverage without additional cost per dependent.”

This. 1000 times this!

"Why do you assume only white men are not a diversity hire? There are more white women working for WF than white men."

According to the diversity slate guidelines WF just announced, any woman is considered to be a diverse candidate.

Not so hard to lie about a domestic partner. Spouses and kids come with more paperwork.

what is anyone worried about? It's probably workday. WF was my employer for all three kids, ages 26, 23 and our 18 year old Chinese daughter we adopted - which WF in large part paid for - IVF for the first two, and adoption costs for #3.

Give the company a break. Not everything we (they) do is bad.

"This is what happens when you are required to hire diversity......they don't understand the rules."

So only straight white men understand the rules? Got it.

You had me until you started your second sentence.

I’m pro-employee in every sense of the word, but I am not for employees who are cheating and lying. Diversity has nothing to do with this issue. This is a financial institution and ethics should be a top requirement.

Having said that, ethics should be on display regularly from the top down. And, unfortunately our leaders, past and present, set the example of “Profit above all.”

In a properly managed company, employees should be required to provide documentation at the time they sign up dependents. But our shoddy HR Department, our incompetent leadership and our outdated technology prevents reasonable management of such matters regularly. This is just one example of many.

What’s good for the goose should be good for the gander. Any employee caught cheating the system should be terminated immediately. Likewise, the same should hold true for upstairs. (And ignorance of the rules doesn’t count.)

A group of 13 year-old buys would do a better job leading this company than our C-Suites have.

People fraxding the company for benefits should be terxinated. This is what happens when you are required to hire diversity......they don't understand the rules. So company now has to pay external company $$ to gather and confirm legit people being placed in insurance. Frustrating in many ways.

The benefits book lays out the requirements for domestic partners. I think the title of the email was chilling. Get your docs in a row. Meaning if you don’t verify or can’t verify then your a-s is grass…

Dependent verification. The Personal Data Removal Project. It's all a desperate attempt to save a buck so we can afford to keep paying Chuck's JPM buddies.

How does this cover domestic partners? What proof will we need to provide for these arrangements?

Had to do this at my last employer. I’m surprised we aren’t required to do this initially. It really is unfortunate that people cheat the system and this has to be done.
