I don't see it. We don't have enough help now.
Would love to have a night crew back but first have to be able to keep associates at work first!
One club in our market has put 'freight flow crew' in place. They work overnight.
Let’s hope so, it’s needed
I really hope so, and the club that I am in does over $100 mil every year. We do not have an overnight crew but the 4am morning crew sometimes comes in at 3am or 2 am
All depends on the manager. If they schedule a night crew then they have to work harder in the day. Since it would take a lead away during the day i wouldn't hold my breath. Especially if you have a lazy gm
Lack of consistency. Can’t make up their minds what structure needs to be in place. Figure it out already and quit making exceptions and making up the rules as we go.
Heard this today at work. It is about time !
They should never have gotten rid of 3rd shift! Just another bad “realignment “ call by home office.
Have had a small night crew at my club for about a year now
High volume clubs already doing that.
my club does a revert back to a third shift/night shift 9pm to 5am from mid october to early january. skeleton crew usually but of the ones who they know can get the job done. sometimes i go when they ask me sometimes i just dont feel like it.
From what some said the clubs that are Tier 4 and are forecasted to make over $100 million will be the ones tested with overnights.
This might only be short termed and more than likely will not be like in the past. Meaning that the crew will be very small and may only be used on a limited basis. By small between 4 to 7 associates and forklift certification will be a requirement. By limited basis this may only last through the end of year holiday period and then after January back to the day status quo.
It could be true. I know there’s at least 1 club in my market that went back to overnights.
