October layoffs

What's the deal with layoffs? There was some talk about possible October rounds, has there been anything new on that front?

Are there any national media releases on all of these layoffs? I have searched but unable to find anything, even on my state’s official layoff list (says number of employees, etc.) I just don’t understand how they can be taking such drastic measures company wide, and not have made any sort of press release, since they are a publicly traded international company.., but of course I wouldn’t find this surprising, zero communication (and filtered transparency) is always their way

Any news on HBT layoffs/furloughs?

By the way! When will they start laying off at Minneapolis Minnesota. I would love to see some furloughs too. If you have any heads up information, tell me how much of a percent employees they want to get rid of at my location. Last time it was 10% let’s go for 20%.

Then put a hiring freeze and place. The ones left can do the extra work. They should be able to cover the jobs that were eliminated. If they can’t, then we will hire one or two more people. Just don’t bring everyone back that was laid off, and tried to do it with the bare minimum of people.

Rumor in Minneapolis,Minnesota. Our building is for sale.

They just integrated PMT into ICS. Our plant manager said this in a all hand on meeting.

They should move all of RLG to Florida. Sell Plymouth building, and move all operations into Minneapolis location. It would fit if all RLG was relocated. Then later on move all TGP and PMT to Puerto Rico. Unless headquarters wants them all in Florida.

Confirming Spa/PSS. Major layoffs across all areas. Mostly sales but deep cuts in reps. All gone and can't be replaced. Sad

HBT Commercial Security- 60% cut engineering resources confirmed today. Most likely spin off of business unit as market is too competitive for Honeywell.

In AERO, the signs are already there with the freeze on hiring. Soon, the cuts will be inevitable given the usual signs experienced after so many layoffs.

More layoffs within SPS, including IGS, happening today. Supposedly a smaller RIF than last month’s reduction of about 4% headcount in SPS.
