Somebody mentioned in another thread that AT&T is dishonest and underhanded and it's a wonder we have any customers at all. While I agree with the 'dishonest and underhanded' claim that's the perfect description for every single telecom company. We have customers for the same reason Verizon has them: people need our services and they don't have honest and above-board alternatives. All they can do is choose the lesser of several evils, and usually, it's the discount of the day or something like that that makes them choose. As long as this is true, we'll be able to continue to get away with mu---r scot-free.

In telecom, it's become a "free for all".
Given the government oversight along with Sarbanes -Oxley Act, cooking the books has been eliminated. Now it's just poor leadership making bad decisions, nothing against the law.
