Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Does anybody know good recruiting firms for help with a job search?

I'm getting desperate here.

Relax little dude. Network both live and social media like LinkedIn, facebook. Use indeed, and other sites based on your area of expertise. Google is your friend. If you're craft, there are lots of manual labor jobs like restaurants, janitorial, maintenance, etc. Check government sites - sometimes takes a while to get on. Good luck little dude.

This is a valid good question. If you have worked for T for over 20 years. Things are different now as to how to present yourself via social media etc., in looking for jobs.
We used to get a decent notice and HR contacts to discuss questions .
Good luck to all you have been hit.
Sad no package - no thank you , just next!

Many companies are posting ghost jobs on Linkedin or Glassdoor. I see same postings running for 30 days with multiple candidates and many jobs reposting. I guess hiring managers are pretending to be busy.

You don't know how to find a job?

LinkedIn, Indeed.

Network. Lots of people that have left AT&T are thriving elsewhere. Hopefully you have some connections? It's all about networking.

What type of position are you looking for?

Are you currently unemployed or still with the company?

I would start with your personal contacts. If you’ve been with the company for a long time, you probably have multiple contacts/know people who have left over the years and now work other places. Reach out to them directly or on LinkedIn.

If you can't find a job on your own, my advice is to stay where you are.
