Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Honeywell doesn't stand a chance

It will not fail completely but it will never be on top again. As long as the company continues to hire young incompetent workers because they are cheaper while it maintains a senile management team at the same time, things will continue to go downhill. Honeywell has definitely seen its best days.

Honeywell needs to get away from the extreme focus on ESG. ESG is ki----g profits across the board. When I invest, I expressly stay away from ESG stocks and I'm doing well in the market.

As a new employee at HW I am disturbed about how consistent the stories are from tenured employees here in AERO about "it used to be so much better" and "the benefits and incentives for employees were so much better" then than now. 75% here are older and riding the pension gravy train. Other half is comprised of a few actual HW employees and the rest are contract or staffing company workers. Work is here, but its a mess due to outdated procedures. Wondering if this was even worth my time at this point.

Requirements have been ridiculously reduced to hire the incompetent new age clowns.

Totally agree with your statement. You no longer need any qualifications. What makes matters worse is when they do get promoted. They think they deserve it.

Just look at Honeywell aerospace, it used to have quality. They also had on time deliveries. Not anymore.

Record overtime to make up for the rework and a scrap. Yes! This is what happens when you have no qualifications.

You cannot continue to run a company like this. I expect spin-offs, selling off business units, and relocating business units. The only way they can keep generating revenue. Until you can't squeeze any more money out of it, then they're venture into something else. Really sad! Honeywell used to be a great company. Past tense.

So cute you think honeywell has been on top. You have to go back to the 80s for a time when honeywell was creating new intellectual property of value.
