Only this HR org would be d-mb enough to give employees one year to use up carryover vacation, or lose it…and then start tracking card swipes in July & August when those same people are trying to use up their carryover. Then hand the data over to management and say employees aren’t following the WFH/WFO guidelines. You can’t make this stuff up!

Can't believe I need to mention this ... but if you are taking vacation (and marking it like you are supposed to be), the vacation shows up in the system. So when they run the reports, vacation days are factored in. THEY KNOW WHO IS ON VACATION
I didn't make that post but the dubious threat of lawsuits here is absolute gold. I'm sure that guy/girl is is shaking in their undies. You should totally go through with it and in turn burn several thousand of dollars.

Take a day off when your team works in the office and you have to work an extra day in the office when your team isn’t there…. You know, in person collaboration…. Only HR could be that d-mb.
