Several colleagues and I had a rather interesting discussion about what we consider to be the worst moves among all the bad moves that happened here.
Which one would you single out as the most harmful to the entire company?

The worst decision is changing the toilet paper provider. It's not as soft as it was before. The absolute worst.
BellSouth was just as bad as SBC was before they merged.
Why is it that everyone working for legacy BellSouth thinks they are superior to all other regions? Newsflash, you ain't no better. If anything you are much worse. When we acquired bellsouth, the employees in my domain were totally uncooperative in providing information and assistance in merging with T. What a bunch of stuffed shirts!
- T Mo debacle has done more to harm AT&T than anything else. What was once the number 4 carrier now kick our rear end.
- DirecTV and Warner acquisitions. All losing propositions.
- The whole "Loud and Proud about the Cloud" and CDN that ended with AT&T selling off their data centers.
Basically, in my many years dealing with SBC and then AT&T, I have witnessed an overall malaise of employees. Compared to Legacy Bell South, SBC always came across like they didn't care about your product, its install, or service after the sale. Horrible! Furthermore, the leadership always comes across as a day late and a dollar short on any and every deal. Lastly, the way we rebrand actual generational products to con people into thinking we are selling something new (i.e. rebranding hi speed 3G as 4G, but not deploying LTE, and calling LTE advanced- 5G). I have had customers tell me to my face, you people are a bunch of liars.
Half of the workers hired at AT&T are bad decisions. They are unproductive and shows how little they know when they open their big mouths.
Keep whining about the same thing over and over. That's the way to go.

- Mandatory training that many folks cheat to complete.

- Relocation of Mobility HQ to El Segundo, CA
- Paying millions to remodel offices to “open concept”, right before Covid no less
T mobile, when you pay your competitor to compete with you. What a travesty, Randy and Johnny at their very best, what a couple of losers!

Promoting Randall to CEO. If that doesn’t happen there’s a good chance the DTV, TMob and WB debacles never happen.
It's one thing that TMO acquisition failed but the arrogance of having a clause that said we had to pay billions if it failed - and it did (fail) and we did (pay). That was mistake 1. WB was mistake 2 -- buy high and sell low. How sad the negative impacts.......

What does it mean "entire company"? T is pretty big corporation and if you want to get just a one simple answer then you have to focus on dividend yield. So it was WB adventure what crippled T.
Letting Stanky make rap videos is easily the worst.
No question about it, the failed acquisition of TMUS. Money and spectrum for nothing. No ROI!
