Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

No accountability

A white TA director referred to people as monkeys on a team full of black women. Explain to why she was not laid off. The situation was reported to HR and no one did anything about it other than make her read an apology. That entire team was laid off. There is better out there. Keep your heads up!

The lack of diversity is intentional. They will throw in a token minority or LGBTQ person ti fill the quota. It goes both ways. I had a senior manager who was g-y and they greatly favored and promoted openly g-y team members who were not qualified. As for the monkey comment if you are in the circle you are bullet proff

If you are a friend of a higher up you can say and do anything you want.
I am amazed how many basic employment laws that are bypassed.
The solution to a violated employee is to put them on a performance plan or lay them off.
They will change your job duties and create deliverables that are impossible to attain.
Such a sad workplace that is why it is constantly rated the worst workplace in America.
