Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What was our leadership thinking..

when the company employed all those people who now have almost nothing to do?
Employing so many people who will soon become redundant is a miserable fail.

They keep rewarding these losers for mis-management. Hard to imagine how much money they have wasted hiring technician after technician all while there was no work. So they have paid up to two years wages, benefits, and now severance for these unneeded employees. Nice work Stankey and Santone! I wonder what prompted you to a hiring freeze in August?

Look at the bright side, they installed a hiring freeze in August (last month)! You can't say they sat back and did nothing. We've been reading for two years how the technicians were only working one to two hours a day. How much money has been wasted by Stankey and Santone?

Yeah, well Santone does nothing without Stankeys stamp of approval. It appears that Stankey is at fault for continuing the hiring bonanza over the past year. I see a bonus and raise in Stankeys future.

Santone of HR is at fault. They were not thinking, just like always. They knew a year ago they had excess employees. Now they get to layoff a boatload of people. What a waste of company resources. Nice work Santone, i see a bonus and raise in your future.

That's why we have contractors.
