Why did they think overloading Wells Fargo risk with other people’s trash was going to work?

Wells Fargo became a haven for hiring trash leadership from other banks on the cusp of retirement.

No skin in the game. No care in the world of the bank fails. Just get that check and get out.

That’s where we are. It’s a huge mess. Biggest mess I’ve ever seen.

You’ will notice it’s taking them years to figure out what is going on which is causing failures left and right. Delays with consent order progress. Etc.

Too many lying about their experience with an internal HR group that is almost non existent. Too many faking it just hoping to make it to life at their vacation home. Enjoy the mountains Mandy. You left a huge mess.

This bank will be an important case study one day beyond the sales practice topic.

This is exactly what I have seen. All new “hires” that claim to be in “senior” management especially in the risk group are all on the path to retirement and are just collecting the check.

We had a “senior” hire who asked us what is the three lines of defence the other day. Apparently this senior person is going to be covering an entire business from a risk perspective. God bless wells

Entire bank is hiring the JP crowd.

If you think Wells will break up , think again. I actually see them absorbing other banks within the next few years. We'll know more once the recessionary and some of the inflationary periods subside over the next 5 to 7 quarters. Bigger banks like Wells always become the "Players" in the buy out market coming out of the dips and downturns. It will be somewhat comical considering the dastardly claws of the Lizard.

Same thing in the Control Management org.

Hired people from the LOB or outside Wells that have no idea what a control is
