Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

A total collapse of morale

There is no adequate raise. There are many employees who can hardly cope with the stress. Colleagues who are very difficult, almost impossible to replace are leaving. It is often the case that the less competent become superior to others. - Where do you find the motivation to do your job professionally, until you find a new job?

You should see who they hire for management. They have no morals, unethical, and act like cult members. We’re so close to being like Boston scientific. Because we hired them all, and same problems are happing here.

Obviously there’s no accountability at Boston scientific. The same thing takes place at Honeywell aerospace. When you know you ain’t gonna be held accountable for anything. You push those parts and help out your buddies. In order for them to move ahead and in the long run you will move ahead. I’m getting out. Before the SS Honeywell sinks, and Captain isn’t going down with the ship.

What an absolute joke that training is, all of it. And it’s being touted like it’s going to save us all if we just follow the process. These people are nuts.

It's the employees' fault for not embracing the divine glory of HOS.

@1eee,
Understand what you saying but what you say isn't entirely accurate.
Change the job description bit for a backfill and what do have? A legally different role than what was laid off.

Always options for the Dear Leaders

Why are people saying honeywell will be hiring more H1bs. Legally they cannot now that they laid off american citizens. Also I know lot of H1bs that got laid off last week.

SILENCE - We have signed up for a stretch goal. All hands-on deck, no eye contact with executives. Stong heads winds needs a steady hand to guide us through this uncertainty.

Finance - Begin Executive bonus planning for 2023 Q1 pay-out. More RIF's to build cash conversion and review at January retreat.
Marketing - Order new head shots and shift postures from arms crossed to phony smiles, and slow pay the $500k consultant.
IT - Intercept "chirp" messages from employees at will who are disgruntled and prioritize for elimination list to HR.
Legal - Make donations from HIPAC to accelerate H1B visas.
ISC - Change metrics to show improvement based on latest mitigation risk strategy.

These ingrates will know who's in charge!

Just make sure you charge the MANDATORY 46 hours per week and you will be fine.
Can you spell EEI?
DONT say it out loud... The karen said any manager who used that phrase would be fired.
But really ... we just need a little extra engineering engagement to cover my absorption problem.

I feel your pain, there are many of us in the same horrible boat, my day is filled with m.o.r.o.n.s and just plain low grade humans. This place is toxic to the max, the problem is that if you let slip your frustrations or point out the obvious the corpobot piranhas will come for you and make things even worse. Sorry to say you just have to grit your teeth and get through the day, I am learning to mentally detach and go for a run straight after work, that does wonders. It is tough looking for a new job...but....when you actually do it, then you wonder why did it seem so hard. The procrastination is worse than doing it! Get thoses resumes out, DO IT :)
