There is a lot of focus on indirect hours billing in SPS now to weed out the people who are not busy.
The leadership is scared they are going to get axed themselves and are getting desperate.
any rumors of HBS layoffs?
any rumors of PMT layoffs?
More layoffs for SPS coming. Not this week, but near future as numbers come in. Particularly if the numbers will cause any threat or concern to DA's and others bonuses.
HW hates to pay severance. They will root through all your e-mails to find that kernel of a HOAX to claim no severance for you!
Honeywell is like the pirate ship in the movie Princess Bride.
Every day ends with your boss (dread pirate roberts) telling you "good night, sleep well.. i will most likely ki-l you in the morning..."
Only somehow 20 years go by and now they call YOU the dread pirate roberts and your job is to steal, loot, plunder....and ki-l a worker every morning.
Just remember ....as yooouuuuu wiiiissssshhhhh.....
That almost seems too good to be true, can they weasel out of severance somehow?
Up to 26 weeks. Not bad for those they have been around for a while.
Yes 1 week of severance for every week, min 4 weeks
for those who have been laid off, is it still 1 wk of severance for every yr of being with honeywell?
There are clearly more coming in a few months if the numbers don’t look right.
Done and We survived.
Honeywell prefers to wait to lay off until the holidays. Now they have a HW holiday on December 15th which fills the pockets of leadership with match $$$ that doesnt get used.
For sps .. probably a few stragglers.
You are probably right. If HON was going to have a layoff, they would have done it prior to the holiday to avoid paying holiday pay.
More likely a furlough notification for the upcoming weeks.
So glad I am out of there, don’t know how the remaining employees handle the low level stress.
There have been some rumors, but I doubt they'd lay off people during Labor Day week.
