Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Anyone heard updates about RTO for tech?

We come in 2-3 days a week at most and every time I’m in the office it seems totally deserted. Maybe 1/3 of seats filled on a busy day and that’s generous.

Wondering about any talks of increasing RTO going into 2023. Seems with attrition the way it already is that they don’t need to drive more people away. Thoughts?

That is about how populated our floor is.

Charlotte out of a floor fitted for 200 plus. 5 maybe 6 people are working hybrid. Its laughable

A third? When I walk the tech floors, it's about 1%-5% full regardless of which day

I must admit that RTO has been a crock of sh-t. What a waste of time.

I live 90 miles away from the nearest office, and was hired as a telecommuter from day one.

F them. Let them insist on RTO. I'd welcome the severance.

The folks on my team that are in my city go in once a week. It's got to be like 90% empty on those days. Nobody has said or even started enforcing the 2-3 days per week-- YET.

Yeah I haven’t heard of any changes. I go in 3 days a week (and have been for the past 6 months). Maybe 1 out of 15 desks are filled in the building. We are supposed to have more people coming in but they simply don’t, no one seems to really care, not even leadership.

I'm not sure I've even seen 1 in 10 desks full at my building. Super low numbers. FRTO.

I tried to work in the office, but with the low level cubes i could hear the 1 other person on the floor screaming on calls. I couldn't deal with the distraction and went home.

I am in IT in a hub. On a floor that seats over 300 there's at most maybe 50 people on any given day and far fewer on most days. Employees that used to come in at the beginning of RTO are no longer coming in.

Same, I am in Tech, located at a major hub. I am supposed to be in 2 days a week. I would say that on a good day only 1/8 of seats/offices are taken. I have dropped of to one day in every other week.

Heard that no changes were currently being discussed to my leadership’s knowledge. My area is meeting the 3-day requirement and they are not tracking individuals. They are only tracking at a high-level. I don’t think my office even gets to 1/3. I’m not in tech.
