The fix is easy, good off in the office all day, get all your work done while on your WFH days.
I’ve heard both rumors of going to 2 days in office but also wfh ending at Labor Day and everyone back to office 5 days. Who knows? Given all the tracking they have been doing I really hope it’s not the latter
Rumor is review of policy, how to address non-compliance with employees. tracking of meeting minimum days (3) & hours (6)per day. Even location tracking of wfh. Disciplinary action. Productivity of in office vs wfh as they are seeing big differences in stats. Hopefully the rumor of ending WFH is not true
Hey - Just for fun, why not share the call-in number so we can all join and listen and then discuss back here. Nobody will know - it is Anonymous.
When did Charlies return to SF?
Oh that's right the hypocrite just works from where he wants.
I hope you're right. Even better if they let us choose.
It's good news if it happens, but I sure as heck ain't counting on it.
I heard they are going to announce an inversion of the current WFH policy from 3/2 to 2/3 for the entire enterprise.
There's logic alright. They know a lot of people hate RTO. They know people will find other jobs and quit over it. They want people in the US to quit so they can hire people overseas or contract things out. Ergo, RTO is a great idea because it cuts the cost of employing people...errr...because we're better together. Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket!
F RTO. Not doing it. Fire me if you want.
There should be no doubt in leadership doubling down on RTO. They exist in echo chambers and the addition of flexibility would be perceived as a bruise on their fragile egos.
This has nothing to do with anything at this point, if you are looking for logic stop.
Let us know when you find out.
Arm twisting. The numbers for RTO still stink. They include people that have been working on site throughout the pandemic in order to inflate the participation numbers, but if you drop them the rate of compliance is abysmal. CEO and COO, the biggest cheerleaders for this nonsense, ain't happy and will start ratcheting up the pressure on down the chain.
