Would you rather…
- Be laid off w/ some sort of severance
- Remain employed at “newly restructured Avaya”
There’s got to be pros and cons of each…any one have any ideas as to what’s the best “option”?

They areNOT a carrier. Not essential. They've had 18 lives and burned through them all. No. They do not get bailed out.

Ask to be surplused, company is dead, get what you can and get out before the lights get turned off.

If you stay there will be trouble and if you leave it will be double
I think laid off is best, that way you're guaranteed your severance. If the company goes under or files bankruptcy, which is very likely, you will not get any severance.
