Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Fiber Executive - Being Outsourced?

Being a Fiber Sales Executive II, thought I was free and clear from any reorganizations as we are in the growth part of the business. I was really shocked to see job postings for my exact role with Authorized AT&T resellers. One company that I saw a job posting on was Prime Communications. I always thought they were the retail side of things….not moving into business corporate roles. Is this something to take care seriously or as long as I’m hitting goals…I should be safe? Thank you in advance

Y’all could take a wire tech position. Might even like it. Plenty of wind shield and attic time.

This is the new way for both Fiber & Mobility Sales, more restructuring to come, T will see cost efficiencies by letting go of the direct sellers-getting rid of salary, benefits and the associated workspace costs-software, demo equipment, etc, etc. This is the model that is used in most other countries.

CLARIFICATION: NO ONE in management is safe, bargained for is a whole different landscape and there will be no layoffs in that arena!

Do some research into Prime Communications leadership and origins. All former T execs. Very much completely in cahoots with current T executive leadership, and getting more and more $$ steered their way annually. Nu-e nudge, wink wink 19th ho-e dealing kind of stuff. Shady and incestuous.
