Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

I'm starting to actively hate this place

I think it's time to look for a new job when the very thought of going to work fills me with dread and anger.

It is a one way street. They fill you full of BS that thaw care about their employees than act 100% in the opposite direction with every layoff, reorg and changing your job description to fit their pay scale. Bait and switch of a job more than anything I have experienced.

Get the resume ready and start looking if you’re not already! No reason to be miserable.

I like working here - but you should definitely leave if you’re not happy. Life is too short to stay in a job you don’t like!

This place is horrible, they fire anyone decent and leave you with id--ts who don't know what they are doing with little to no help. I'm exhausted and stressed, with no end in sight.

I felt the exact same way. Then I got laid off a couple months ago, and everything changed. I still was pretty pi---d for the first couple weeks, but then I realized that place was swallowing me whole. Every day and night. It's great to be free of an environment that has a CBB Vice Chair who pretty much doesn't respect any of the employees.

Sucks working for a company with constant RIFs and Re-orgs. People start looking out for #1 and stop focusing on the work. Employee morale is so low. Depressing everyday.

We should not be spending half of our lives feeling like this.
