Since employees don't care, why should contractors be any different. Executives are always touting on these "strategic partnerships" as success, they don't bother to account for "no one give a sh-t anymore".

It is a very funny thing to see what is happening. It has been a year and half since Wipro in India took over the order processing from IBM in the Philippines. I have seen very little to no improvement in order handling. At least IBM got past the learning curve and we were starting to see decent order handling by the back half of their first year. I've never seen a bigger group of people that just don't care. To make matters worse, most of my community over the past 3 years is being swallowed up by H1B Indians. Compliant people, but totally unproductive.
Ordering anything at AT&T sucks. I constantly have to apologize to customers for these mo--ns. If I hear David Ciccione tell people how many improvements they are making again, I'll personally laugh in his face. Upper-level managers deploy tools to make their lives easier while processes at our level continue to be difficult and fail miserably.
Follow this up with the incongruous policies between getting everyone back into the office, while still knuckling down via HR with the COVID police, and you have the complete lack oflogical messaging that makes AT&T the mess that it is. Why do I bring this up? I have it on good authority that threats are coming from higher in the company that if people don't "badge in" to their work locations, t-t means they can and will be replaced by cheap laborers in India.
Look for it only to get worse!

@1qax+1i5AURdp Exactly! Watching this play out and waiting for Andy Cohen to moderate the tell all. Shep Rose from "Southern Charm" needs another check from mommy! Now I understand why they all wanted to run a content company..... Getting drunk with young women and have no care in the world drives the daily desicion making..... After the hangover is gone of course!

It's like being trust find baby. There are no consequence for their actions because of the available cash flow to fill in the mistake. The problem is , T will see significant pressure on cash flow due to market conditions not previously experienced. Translation, repositioning as described. V and TMO actively cutting expenses and headcount, T will be following suit.

“This time they say they’re on the right path” That’s what they say every time they change paths, and they’ve always been wrong. How can you believe it now?

Another wave of business shifts, product consolidation, business spin offs, building
and land sales, firings, rebadging thousands of jobs, etc...this time they say they know they are in the right path (fiber, mobility), it is just a matter of time, you'll see results soon.
Meanwhile product innovations are being developed just about anywhere but inside T: T executive compensation knows no bounds and the business erosion keeps on.

@1pdj+1i5AURdp Spent millions in legal fees fighting the justice department for the Time Warner merger which tanked a year later. That's "Harvard" thinking for ya.
