DXC is just CSC warmed over:
CSC:
Co-k Sucking Company
Cheat Staff Corp
Cut Staff Corp
CEO Smells Cash
Sadly I'm not surprised with our leaders missing a deadline or not providing any communication. They really are a bunch of delusional incompetents.
The only way to get a pay raise at DXC is to quit and go somewhere else. I did exactly that.
In the last 5, its been close to 50% overall, and another 30% or so in bonuses for me.
Stop believing the bullsh-t - DXC don't care about their employees, they only care about the shareholders, and the executives. Everyone else is simply an asset to be exploited.
Who needs a pay rise? (Apart from the Execs of course)
But someone in EMEA had some money to burn as I got a purple DXC New starter pack (Think they were confused as its my 19th Work Anniversary since joining HP, HPE, ManPower + DXC)
Got a congratulations email and 2 cinema tickets too (Wonder if the power company will accept that as part payment for my energy usage?)
Yet we’ve all just enjoyed a themed week emphasising DXC’s culture - which started off with how we should always deliver on our promises. It all fell a bit flat against the backdrop of DXC’s failure to provide even an update on the delayed pay rises.
Last year many of us worthy enough to receive a rise got an insulting 0.1% - yet grumpy Mike included these people to demonstrate how DXC was looking after staff.
At ground level there is little evidence that DXC’s care for customers or colleagues is anything other than fluff.
Dynamics practice guys are a Happy bunch - having spun out of dxc into EY. But remember they have to do work now - which most of dxc guys have forgotten.

Exactly!
Shouty McShoutface made a commitment to staff at the last town hall he bothered to have (he seems to have forgotten about May's) that we would be informed about the pay review in July. That has happened so he failed the DXC Value - Deliver.
The fact he hasn't provided any updates on the pay review means he has also failed the DXC Value - Do the right thing.
So he's failed to live up to 2 of the 5 DXC Values and still gets a 30-odd % raise, whilst the rest of use get nothing.
Clearly "We are DXC" doesn't apply to leadership.
Waiting for our chief to approve each and every increase as reported on this site from someone else.
Its also strange a day before the pu--c financials that 9 Directors get 6,300 shares of DXC stock for ZERO dollars or a 200,220.00 pay increase.
It's like some cruel lab experiment where the lab assistants keep the mice waiting for the cheese. However, I am sure when they all get back from vacation, a late August Town Hall will be on the cards. Brief. No Questions. Security guards on the door and a follow-up global email blind-copied to everyone.
It will start by apologising for the delay in communicating the pay review strategy and then outline the reasons for the (appalling) delay. Reasons such as DXC is a big, complicated place where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing (although we've read some suggestions on here).
The second paragraph will explore the reasons in more detail - how DXC's service offerings have taken the full impact of the war; how its book to bill has been battered by the economic effects of downturn abbey and will go on to outline how DXC's clients are very, very poor now and can't throw money around as they used to; how the shortage of grain has reduced Platform x's ability to sell anything; how the increase in the interest rate has increased the cost of debt; COVID will be mentioned (as it was in all the papers at the time); perhaps a bit on how the surging costs of energy has mushroomed DXC's operating overheads; how the lack of Olive oil's has failed to grease the DXC communication channels and lead to a proliferation of time-recording systems that increased the costs further; the tax on its business, surging interest on its debt, the costs of making the logo purple and finally how the increased tensions with China has impacted on delivery there.
Then they will use the fact that Shareholder's veto'd DXC's last Exec compensation proposals last August as a way of being seen to share the pain with you all. So, a final paragraph might conclude:
'We all have to make the necessary sacrifices as we face these tough times and challenges together, so lets continue to focus on our clients, bringing them the best of service delivery with our steadfast vision, laser-focus, sparkly-clean values, super-clean culture, inclusivity and a leading-edge service, full of customer-centric vision, as we continue to do the 'right thing' as one-DXC. So, let's get back to work and hear no more of this foolish pay rise talk. HR will be issuing a new policy in September that anyone who continues to raise pay-related questions in future town-halls will be severely dealt with.'
(!) Warning. Microsoft has detected a high level of Bu115hit and is closing this file.
This email will self destruct in 10 seconds.
I would absolutely LOVE to be in the executive board room when the topic of employee raises is brought up. The sound of the laughter must be deafening. The POWER of MYTH is staggering! DXC workers STILL believe they will get a pay raise after many years of 0%.
Way to go Mikey! You have them all FOOLED! AGAIN!!
So, what to do?
Get a raise, of course! Now, you can't do that by staying at DXC where the only thing that 'raises' is the number people they lay off.
Obvious answer: brush up your CV, work out what the market thinks your skills are worth, and get off the sinking ship and go someplace better. I did: my salary went up and my stress levels went down. What's not to like?
