Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

August layoffs

Isn't there usually a major round of layoffs each August? What are the chances the trend will continue?

All the data exists on Iowa's Workforce Development site. So far for 2022, there have been 290 60-day WARN notifications issued to WF Iowa workers. Given the current economic environment, this isn't a large number considering. It's approx. 2% or less of the WF team members.....er employees.

@uwt. I am guessing because they have seen so many laid off there already. But that happened in Charlotte too.

WARN notices have been filed for DSM, totaling about 200 people between now and the end of September. Not a huge number, and about half are branch employees.

How hard is hard for DSM? There are approximately 14k WF cult members in and around that city. No new WARN notices have been filed, so it can't be that many. They can't let too many more go or they won't be able to sell of Mortgage
