More pay for the holiday

Sam's club really needs to pay associates more for working on holidays when we are open. Every other company does

My gm had every holiday off. then would come back complaining about what the club looked like. I remember having paid holidays where family mattered but now it's all about the mighty old dollar in their pockets.

They used to pay time and a half for those who were grandfathered in. Everyone else got a dollar more per hour. Same with Sundays. Corporate greed took over so they could get theirs. Meaning big bonuses. No one fought for us during this transition period. They all smiled and said "Who Cares. We dont have to look at them slaves"

This is a multi million dollar company. Give us back our paid holidays. Your managers get a bu-t load of time off. Where were our mgt team this past holiday weekend? Oh yeah, most of them were off. Must be nice.

Prior to PTO, holidays were "paid". You had one extra day off during the holiday pay period. If that extra day was not taken, then technically you were paid double time. Fun times.
