Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Treading water no news

Feels like Honeywell is in that long quiet before storm. Nothing happening. No layoffs no big contracts no site as-----ns.

I bet all those newly promoted execs are in the six month “blame your predecessor” phase. We are probably a year or less until the reorganization starts up once they realize how bad it is on the floor.
Thus it was and this it will always be..

Misspelled word. Iceberg ahead. Full speed ahead. If you want to go out of business or be relocated, hire management at Honeywell. So you can have the same results, and no quality anymore.

Measuring footprint is a red flag for sure.
Especially at one of the last union shops in honeywell.

Minneapolis audit of all equipment in building. The facility department has a check of list. Which facility is using to check what type of electric prongs it uses. Then a check for column for what machine power requirement is. Example 120 or 240 volts.

Then they gotta measure the width and length of the equipment. All facility departments are involved. So example plumbers, electricians, equipment repair, etc. Yet! It’s just an audit so the company can determine what equipment they have.

The Kool-Aid people believe nothings happening. It’s just a simple audit. The SS Titanic Honeywell in Minneapolis about the sink. Instead of iceberg ahead, at Minneapolis we say for speed ahead.

@1vgl When they measured the equipment at my site, it was to determine which door it would fit thru on the way out.

Q2 is going to be worse than Q1 results. Hiring freeze has already started for some departments. And, soon to make the segment margin calls, heads will have to roll in order to do more with less so that MM gets to meet his margin for the SBG.

Minneapolis is doing a major audit of all their equipment. Facilities has a check off sheet they must go through. Why I’m kind of suspicious. If I heard this right, they need to measure the equipment with a tape measure to find out how much space it takes up.

I’ve been here for 10 years and in 10 years they never ever had an audit of all their equipment. In the whole entire building not just one section. Contract time coming is here. My division is definitely located in a high buck region.

The aerospace headquarters just moved to Puerto Rico. Mike Manson been bragging about how Puerto Rico and Mexico is future of aerospace Honeywell.
