Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

The toxicity has reached a boiling point. My team keeps being told to perform or we "might" get laid off.

We have been told numerous times now that if we don't start hitting metrics that the lease for our site might not be renewed. IT's creating massive paranoia and turnover. What has T-Mobile turned into? Really, you're gonna threaten us?!

The other option the Sr. Directors could have used was to listen to and work with their Sales Engineers to make improvements. But that's not what directors at the New TMO do.

"The Floggings will Continue Until Morale Improves"

I heard that the Senior Directors did not like that the Sales Engineers were getting together on a conference call to vent frustrations, so they torpedoed the group running the calls.
The group was trying to foster an area where the SEs could get help from other SEs, and maybe reduce the stress load the SEs are under. It was actually working, SEs were sharing valuable work arounds with one another, others were getting issues taken to Senior Management so they could be noticed, and other SEs were feeling better that they could talk out the stress and know they were not alone in their frustration. But the Senior Directors were mad that the Senior Management was encouraging SEs to bypass the Directors and talk directly up the chain (The Directors felt they could not "keep the lid on" nasty topics being seen by up above, which made the Directors look bad), so the Directors just ended the calls...

The place really is toxic.

You are having your future threatened yet you are on here complaining instead of getting another job in the best job market in a generation. Those who remain at this point our bottom of the barrel talent or cowards.

May your chains rests lightly upon you.

This is the Mikey Sievert way of doing business. If you're not part of getting us to profitability, you're useless and need to go.
