Don't expect Stankey and Santone to let the new telecommuting rules go unenforced. It may seem that way at first, but they will enforce the rules with all their will.
Everyone has an excuse. If you don't want to RTO, then get another job. No one wants to hear you crying.
Maybe they'll give those who don't RTO a low raise or cut their benefits.
Wahahaahaha. They'll do that even if you do RTO.
You might like to think all states are employment at will but there are employment discrimination laws. A company has to treat all employees under the same rules which means they cannot impose conditions on one that they don't impose on another.
@1mkg+1hrs97jon how insensitive can you possibly be? I've lost friends to COVID, it's no joke and others I know are suffering long term effects. I've been masking & sanitizing for over 2 years & I won't put myself or my family in jeopardy of getting infected.
I love the "new variant, no RTO for me". Aww, that's cute. Would you like a blankie while you're WFH? Almost all states are employment at will. So they can fire you for not showing up. I guarantee if I trailed you for a day you're running around in public with no mask . This whole pandemic has made everyone so sensitive to their feelings.
They can threaten me all they want but their designations hold no weight when another person I directly work with does the same work and yet has a totally different office designation status. I'm listed full time office worker and my co-worker is listed 100% home office.
I want to see them try to defend how the designation was made if they threaten me.
AT&T is paying you to do a job. If they want you to do it in the office and you don’t. They can fire you.

I was told no reason to rush back in now and probably never as I work with no one in my office but those all over the country and overseas
Refusing to return makes it easy to put names on those pink slips.
Actually, most people I know that were told RTO are just ignoring it. So, in that regard, it really isn't a big deal.
