I left some years ago once things started to go south after the acquisition. It's really sad to see a once thriving company get so mangled for the sacrifice to wall street. Recently I heard some rumors that things are really falling apart now due to the sheer number of people leaving lately. Can anyone confirm?

Intelligrated is sinking like a rock, corporate is he-l bent on moving significant portions of key functions to Mexico which has not impressed the customers such as purchasing, order entry and finance and ultimately customer service. The manufacturing of proprietary components is an absolute disaster. The ship dates in the ERP are wrong (will not be corrected so nearly every order goes out with incorrect ship dates) and the manufacturing plant will not even respond with an ESTIMATED ship date. We have items that have been on order so long that they have had Birthdays! Still no ship date and the customers are leaving in droves and are left with systems that are broke down.
I fired them. I called the main office and made it absolutely clear that I’m not quitting. You as an employer are fired and no longer in qualified as an employer Cut my rate 2$ hr? FIRED!
@2iqej
Looks to me like Honeywell is drawing down Intelligrated. Maybe to sell or close. One thing is for certain, JW will never pay the price for his stupidity.
London Ohio (OH0I) will close in early 2024 with Lockbourne Ohio close behind. Many layoffs here at OH0I and more to come. These layoffs are permanent w/severance pay. London OH will complete the few jobs they have which is estimated to run until late 2023 and any small jobs picked up after that early 2023 will be run until completion up to the closing date. Honeywell has decimated Intelligrated and with the Amazon shut-down of 13 warehouses this was the nail in the coffin.
PHX closing Intelligrated plant due to loss of Amazon orders and is being relocated to Mexicali for cheaper labor. Wonder if the cheaper labor relocation may happen to other plants......
It will be interesting to see what happens now with the lack of Amazon orders because it will leave a gigantic ho-e in the sales pipeline. Normally one would expect that you could fill in the gap with orders from other customers but the reality is that many of them were pushed aside to ensure that Amazon gets all the love. Now a lot of them won't be coming back. You can't fix a bad reputation overnight.
@Czwi
Projects currently in progress will run to completion. No new projects. My understanding is that AMZN canceled all expansion projects for all vendors after missing earnings last quarter.
Wait a minute. Are you saying that Amazon dumped Intelligrated as a vendor entirely? When did this happen?
@Crjo
That's why I like this site. I've heard nothing on this. Not surprised since we lost AMZN. Plus, as I understand it, even with PHX, we still couldn't keep up. Maybe HON getting rid of all of the experienced manufacturing managers?
Announcement made here in PHX that the Intelligrated plant here is closing.
@2xhv
That sounds just like something that John Boy would say.
Wait, are you John Boy? I think you are. How are you enjoying those millions that you received while you were destroying Intelligrated?
You are not making any sense at all. We are talking about the current state of the company. Even if technically what you are saying was actually true then it's only relevant to the people who were acquired at the time... and the vast majority of those people left years ago. The company has been in constant turnover ever since the acquisition with only a handful of original people left.
Either you are sincerely confused about what is being discussed or you are here to deliberately distract everyone with your nonsense. Which is it?
Intelligrated employees all acted like they were special. Like some hidden secret Hwell bought and destroyed. Frankly everyone that came with that company had a sense of entitlement. Most were a pain in the a$$ to work with. Difficult to manage. Like little kids who threw a tantrum if they didn’t get their way. Move on folks.
Ya know, you could replace "Intelligrated" with _____________ (fill in the blank) the name of around 75 to 80, maybe more, companies that Hon acquired and trashed from 2002 to 2022. Take a look at Wikipedia.
Very similar to the "Three Shithouses" of Honeywell in Canada - Cambridge, Kanata and Mississauga, all independent companies destroyed by Vomitwell.
Entire finance team gone
@1xmx - Intelligrated is a company that Honeywell purchased and then set about destroying it. We have lost so many good people. :(
what is this intelligrated u speak of?
I completely agree with you about the benefits of U.S. manufacturing. It was incredible to see how certain industries had standardized on Intelligrated equipment due to its reliability, performance, and reputation. The products coming out of St. Louis were especially impressive. I am afraid to ask what everything looks like now. Hopefully the U.S. factories are still around at least.
People are leaving because they have no ownership in "Honeywell" unlike previously in Intelligrated. I am still here, because at 63, I'm not interested in going somewhere else and having to prove myself all over again. It is unfortunate the Hwell has not attempted to learn anything about the company that they acquired. Intelligrated was famously profitable. Honeywell thought that they could just rip everything apart and continue to make the same kind of money with lesser paid people. John boy was the problem. He was listening to daddy in law. Honeywell doesn't have a clue about U.S. manufacturing and the benefits and profitability that it can provide. Honeywell is completely stupid.
What on earth is wrong with these people? In the end I am sure this will all get spun as some kind of incredible business success in the media. The sad truth is that he probably could have done a lot less damage if he just stayed home and never showed up for work. It won't be long before he starts giving speeches at graduation ceremonies suggesting that hard work, discipline, and smart business decisions will lead you down the same path of "success" that he has enjoyed.
Another new toy "John-Boy" the son-in-law broke
What a mess. This acquisition was the solution that nobody needed. Before the takeover Intelligrated was doing exceptionally well and people were happy. After the acquisition it only took a handful of years to destroy it and make its own employees run for the hills. The market for conveyor and sortation systems could not have been hotter these past few years with all the consumer spending that has been going on. It must take a special level of incompetence to sc--w everything up this bad under these conditions.
80% of the employees have been here less than 6 years. All the heavy hitters in leadership roles have moved on and people have been promoted to positions they have no business being in. And it shows. Inexperienced people in all positions with no clue what they are doing. And people are still leaving in droves.
We are trying to find if someone is still around to answer your question.
Please stand by.
