You need to have the philosophy that Minneapolis Honeywell has. Work Monday through Sunday. Also holidays and you can get all good benefits on your own.

  • 401k match every pay check
  • 401k match that is the best in industry, say full 10%.
  • Guarantee raises equal to the COLA that military pensions and Social Security get.
  • No employee evaluation system. Just have company wide and sub level goals to meet. Safety, delivery, quality and costs.

They are leeches and parasites that exploit the worker.

@2mdu I donate my Honeywell tshirts to a homeless shelter. It is a good representative for Honeywell.

I like the tee shirts they occasionally give out. Perfect for painting, yard work or changing the oil on your car.

Severance for those who quit equal to being laid-off, people would drop their badges on the spot 🤣

Whoever came up with the SHAM unlimited vacation policy probably got a million dollar cash award!

I would like a guaranteed minimum amount of vacation. The "all the vacation you can work back" seems to just mean no vacation due to under staffing and insane deadlines.

Git rid of the Block 9 and mandatory PIP that is aligned with it. Out dated, for this out of touch mgmt.

I think it would be a great perk if they stopped acquiring other businesses and running them into the ground. Their strategy seems to be buy, bleed, bail. The funny thing is that this always works out great for the greedy shareholders but it's devastating for the vast majority of employees in the acquired company...

Fully embracing remote/flex work, rather than reluctantly giving employees 2 days a week to WFH.

Would love to have an office but would settle for a cube. Having to sit in what is essentially a call center setup is very distracting.

That or a 9/80.

Simply match the benefits offered by local competitors. Examples include 9/80 work week (3 of 4 large companies we are similar to)
Paid dental and vision ( 4 of 4 ) … Honeywell does not fund your dental. Paid gym membership (2 of 4). Do I need to mention wages?

How about being really progressive and establishing an employee “rights” list that includes the right to have a collocated manager? Been here 5 years and I have never met my managers (there have been 3). Latest manager is continents away from my little island.

Or how about matching the Honeywell sites where they offer bus service to and from work and actual food onsite?
