Quantum Performance Review Feeback for Managers

Does anyone know if Quantum feedback by employees for managers are taken seriously? I think my ATT manager has received bad feedback and wonder if the upper managers look at it and implement change. Or is it just a formality and it's up to the manager to do something about it if he/she wishes?

We were told not to bother with peer reviews as employees only ask friends who give only positive feedback

Not being in the office for a couple of years I used up all of my relationship equity (see McElfresh email from 6/16) and found it difficult to find peers for my review.

On a serious note, yes if the manager’s manager is looking for a reason to get rid of said person the peer reviews can facilitate that.

I work in a group where everyone is off doing their own thing working issues, etc. we know very little about what the other is doing and how well / proficient they are handling issues on their own. For the most part any communications they are sending out or additional help they are seeking is done directly with others and not including the teams district list. I say this to show that in our group it really does not make sense to involve our immediate peers for a review because they really don’t have any insight to proficiency/ quality of work performed by others on the team.

Not your job to rate your boss. It will not help your career. Just enter "Keep up the good work" and move on.

The funny part is that my Manager will send a message to say or remind me that I have not done the survey yet??? Uhhhhh so they know who said what?

I ignored the request and haven't heard anything about not soliciting feedback. And I didn't do it last year either.

Not my job to rate my boss.
It's my job to try to avoid all contact with him and fix stuff.
Nor will I do his boss' job because I don't believe for a second they care what I think.
Are you people really this naïve?
It amazes me how gullible most of you are.

It's just checking a box..."have feedback in by X date, have one on one by X date". All that matters is hitting the X date, no one cares about what's in there. I was essentially told this by my L3. "Get X number of feedback from peers or external partners"....last year I took this seriously as I thought it had would have some weight on ratings, etc. NO ONE READS THEM. All they care about is that you solicited for the feedback (this is the box check, and all that matters). I have never been involved in such a meaningless waste of time my entire life.
