Even with all the resentment that I harbor towards Stankey I don’t think that it would have made much difference even if someone else was holding the wheel, and that our problems are deeply embedded into our culture and business practices to a degree that no leader can change. Thoughts?

stank was a result of rand and we all know how rand got his job. rand should of never been ceo of anything and should of stuck to accounting.
Resentment towards a corporate CEO is understandable, but you should also feel frustration with yourself. What were the career decisions you made which put you in this situation?
Like spoiled brats, Stank & Stephenson dug in their heels on buying TW because “daddy” Trump said it was a bad idea. How childish is that?

When the Stink has finished milking T for every dime he can, the worthless BoD will no doubt do yet another exhaustive CEO hunt, and compensation analysis, and pick the most worthless PoS they can find. Probably Poppin' Fresh!
No way they can attract someone external that might be able to clean house and clean up the mess of 10 years of gross mismanagement from the Rat and the Stink.
I believe that a good leader can, in fact, have a significant impact on a company’s culture.
I believe the current corporate culture at T is the direct result of CEO failure, Stephenson and Stankey. Neither is qualified to be a CEO at any company. The irrational business decisions they made has destroyed a once greatly admired company. Now it probably doesn't matter who is CEO, T will be focused on paying down debt for the next two decades, maybe longer.
