Our store has always been lazy on attendance and let people get many points or second chances. In the past 2-3 weeks, we've been firing people left and right.

Just popped onto this site to see if anything’s changed. I have been away from Sam’s for quite some time but this was common at my old club. Disregard attendance until it’s time to trim the fat or go ona coaching spree.
Yep. They are at my club. Surprised since we're terribly understaffed.

We have one guy that has been late almost every day for at least 6 months and nothing gets done. They dont even consider him a no call no show til 2 hours after his shift starts.

Sales are not down. Margins are paper thin due to inflation. Now is the time to treat employment like you actually need it.
Our store picks and chooses with attendance who they are going to fire and who they are going to give a pass too. Half the associates in our club don’t even get their points but others do
Sales are down, payroll is up. It's all about timing.
