Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Green enterprises are like startups. Vulnerable?

I work on a small innovation project. We are treated like a separate co pany they say.
Am i vulnerable to the same venture capital drought that is hitting startups?

Honeywell doesn't fund R&D and doesn't care about innovation. Your work is just a virtue signal to wall street and the woke broke joke investor and social crowds. Honeywell is a M&A company with a legitimate aerospace front. If you want to work on innovative products, you'll have to go somewhere else. I did and it made all the difference.

It can depend on where the funding for the program is coming from. If the program funding comes from the US government you're likely safe. If it's funded by Honeywell, yes you are vulnerable. One of the the first things they do among other things in economic downturns is to start hoarding cash by downsizing or cancelling R&D expenditures being funded by Honeywell. It's already happening in my business unit.
