I think that we've determined that the layoffs have stopped for this month at least, but it doesn't hurt to check. Is there any indication we can expect more layoffs this week?

Yep. I was just laid off effective end of June.

Im on the commercial banking side (credit) and we just had the big reorganization meeting last week. If there were any major layoffs on our side I didn't hear about them, it could easily be way above my pay grade but at the same time I'm not super entry level either, I feel I would have heard about something.
One thing to point out is we announced three retirements in our division and while I've always known one of those guys would be retiring soon I can't help but feel two of the retirements announced it could be a little bit forced / Soft layoff with nice severance and bridged benefits.
BB is Business Banking
All support roles for the markets that are no longer in existence and being pink-slipped today.
If you get an email stating Branch Banking Update, you are being pink-slipped.
What area is BB?
Significant cuts in retail and BB are happening today with more still scheduled this month.
There's an earlier thread saying the layoffs are just shifting to other parts of the bank.
I'd just like to be sure.
