Looking at some retail location going Hybrid does anyone know the meaning? Store on hybrid seams to be kicked out other corporate group stores on ranker.

The reason you need brick and mortar is so T can slam accounts with unwanted features and lines.
Not just AT&T stores. What can a store do these days that you can’t do yourself. Order your phone online, switch out SIM card, and transfer your data. Plus unless you are a techie who has to have the latest and greatest what earth shattering upgrades are needed? I don’t need 6 different cameras to take a picture.
It will never work at T. Every time I pass by an at&t retail store, it's empty! What gives?
