There will always be business adjustments due the amount of work needed to be done.
Maybe the top should be repositioned out-the-door, along with the BoD!
Maybe top should be repositioned to the bottom and bottom to top.
I agree about mgmt employees being most at risk. As a mgmt employee I can also say there is plenty of dead weight in the ranks. I also know they will not get rid of the dead weight but will right size by dept and who is liked. Sadly that’s why we continue to have dead
weight in the ranks.

Whatever happen to span and control? Enforcing the 15:1 at GM (L3/L4) levels would right size the business. Along with cutting some dead wood.

As AT&T streamlines their product offerings and sheds many of the legacy products, expect a large reduction in non bargained employees. If you don't touch the network you are at risk.
