They all suck. Some suck a little less than others .. I think. Block scheduling be like oh no we have to follow block scheduling but want to move you to their convenience. Managers spend all day in their offices doing nothing but sucking on each other. And then catering to their favorite employees who bring them Starbucks. Asswipes.

All for one. And one is everywhere and every club.

In all fairness, Mansfield Ohio sucks. Sounds like the club fits the city well.

Same in Denver area clubs. Its the way now! Between team leads (😂) and management, they play their little games. The poor souls that continue working at such a place have no self confidence.

Former associate (thank God!)
My former club WAS in the same market as Mansfield, I can’t remember if the changes before I left kept them in the same market (Club 4962 Sandusky). Stunk then. Sure it still stinks.

Agreed!!!!! Every manager goes on vaca or takes days off and if we ask for a single day off...months in advance...like September 17th, then it's a no, "we don't have enough staff." I seriously hate these people, but at 17 an hour, I can't quit. This is a small town where not many places will give you full-time at that pay. But you better believe, come September 17th, I won't be at Sam's Club.

As far as I can tell, it is the same in all Clubs. The Walton family is so far removed from the company the culture is gone. Home office is filled with young College grads who have never worked nor stepped into a Club or store. They think all their logistic algorithms will work, but they fail to calculate the human factor. We can’t unload 6 trucks and 7 dc’s in a day. We can’t keep the floor stocked with call offs and not enough forklift drivers. And every area feels the same insanity. Forget asking for time off, they just let it sit for months and months and if you say anything then they turn it on you, “We can’t approve everyone’s request, we have a business to run.” We earned pto and should be allowed to use it. Yeah, I get the holiday thing but come on. It just sucks in all clubs on all levels. And Walmart is the same. Taking care of the associate so they can take care of the member is gone.

@bwa+1hRZjTYW, it’s not forbidden to mention specific clubs. The thing is mods scrub this place from all names and PII (personally identifiable info). As clubs are small, someone usually posts something identifiable and the thread gets nuked.

It's the same, everywhere. This company has really gone down the toilet. Lack of caring. Understaffed and overworked. It's all bad.

I’m thinking they all pretty much suck ! Mid- Michigan clubs from what I hear all suck too ! Short staffed .. managers wanting more and more from us, and we just can’t keep up . Upper management and market don’t care , as long as the stuff gets done and they look good that is all they care about . They have unrealistic demands , ignore requests for days off or vacations, but every manager can go on vacation, but the worker bees are denied ! Currently looking for a new job where hopefully the company cares for their employees , sad thing is this company used to care .
