You want to read the book, IGNORE her argument that targets/victims need to introspect (most likely, they did nothing wrong to deserve such abuse), but use the knowledge of what goes on during a mobbing campaign to PSYCHOLOGICALLY INNOCULATE yourself, so you aren't as easily frazzled/psychologically harmed by the attempt to get you to just up and quit already rather than pursue a union.
Also, promote this book throughout the Greater Chicago Metropolitan area so we can all push for statewide anti workplace bullying (including organization instigated/sponsored/tacitly approved of mobbing campaigns). There is nascent movement in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, where many companies have their headquarters, to publicize and call out toxic "mobbing" workplaces.
Unions can get employment contracts, but Illinois needs a statewide anti-workplace bullying LAW.
